About

Bruno Dumas

Bruno Dumas obtained his PhD in 2010 at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. His PhD thesis focused on the creation of multimodal interfaces, along three axes: software architectures, modelling languages and multimodal fusion algorithms. He then worked for three and a half years at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel as a post-doctoral researcher, during which he deepened his knowledge of multimodal and cross-media systems. His research interests focus on human-computer interaction and user experience, multimodal interfaces and more broadly on how the expansion of computing in everyday life affects usage.
